Anandiram Khatik Resignation

Previously Anandiram Khatik was a member of the All India Congress Committee. It is noteworthy that Anandiram Khatik has previously been the District President of Chittorgarh NSUI and Youth Congress.

Anandiram Khatik considered a supporter of Sachin Pilot. He contested the elections as a Congress candidate from Kapasan assembly seat in 2018. In which he had to face defeat by about seven thousand votes. After this, due to factionalism in the Congress in the 2023 assembly elections, he took membership of RLP and contested the assembly elections from Kapasan. In this election, he received thirty thousand votes. As a result, Congress candidate Shankarlal Bairwa lost the election.

Anandiram Khatik will return home

Anandiram Khatik met former Chief Minister Sachin Pilot in Jaipur in the presence of MLAs Mukesh Bhakar, Sushil Pareek and Vedprakash Solanki. He also presented Sachin with a bouquet. He resigned from the membership of RLP shortly after this meeting. Khatik is considered a pilot supporter. Speculations are being made in political circles about his return home. On social media, Congress members have already started welcoming him back.

There were also speculations about Anandiram joining Congress in the recently held Lok Sabha elections. However, he did not join due to local factionalism.
