The Great Indian Travel Bazaar (GITB) 2024 concluded yesterday with much enthusiasm on the 7 of May 2024. It was opened on the 5th of May 2024. Inaugural Ceremony of the 13th Edition of the Great Indian Travel Bazaar held at Jai Mahal Palace Hotel Jaipur Rajasthan on the 5 of May 2024. GITB was jointly organized by the Department of Tourism of the Rajasthan Government, Ministry of Tourism of the Government of India and FICCI.
Furthermore, this event was supported by reputed national and regional associations. Hotel and Restaurant Association of Rajasthan (HRAR), Indian Heritage Hotels Association (IHHA) and the Rajasthan Association of Tour Operators (RATO) supported this event.
Wed In India
This edition of GITB was an association specifically dedicated to promoting wedding tourist destinations and Rajasthan. The “Wed In India” Expo 2024 started at Hotel Rambagh Palace on Sunday with great enthusiasm and grandeur. Get “Wed in India” and exchange your vows amid ancient arches and dance under the stars. Moreover, let love flourish in the royal palaces of Rajasthan. In the Wed in India expo, the flavours and textures of Indian weddings were shown.
Achievements of the Great Indian Travel Bazaar 2024
In the 13th edition of “The Great Indian Travel Bazaar” (GITB), approximately 300 exhibitors took part to provide numerous travel opportunities for exploring India and Rajasthan throughout the 2-day event. This B2B travel expo event offers ample opportunities to explore India and Rajasthan. More than 10,000 pre-scheduled meetings were held. Moreover, 242 FTOs from 52 Countries participated. In this event, both buyers as well as sellers seemed satisfied with the networking opportunities. This event was hosted by the Rajasthan state government and participated by the other 10 states. The GITB 2024 has created its own unique identity across the country.
Diya Kumari visited the Great Indian Travel Bazaar
Rajasthan Deputy CM Diya Kumari visits the Great Indian Travel Bazaar at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre (JECC). Furthermore, she highlighted the importance of the Great India Travel Bazar. With the increased connectivity of airways, railways and roadways India is ready for a big growth in the tourism sector. Ms Diya Kumari, interacted with the stakeholders while visiting various pavilions. Principal Secretary of Tourism Ms Gayatri Rathore, Director of Tourism Dr Rashmi Sharma, and other officials were also present at the event.
In this two-day B2B event, the interaction was completed successfully.
