Filmfare Awards 2024 winners list

Filmfare Awards 2024 winners have been announced. Everyone from Pathan-Jawan to Sam Bahadur showed their mettle. Big films of Bollywood have taken their place in the Filmfare Awards 2024. Shahrukh Khan’s hit film in 2023 has also been included in the award category. At the same time, Vicky Kaushal’s acting has also got him an award.

The 69th Filmfare Awards started in Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat. Furthermore, Host Karan Johar made a grand entry with his co-host Manish Paul. Moreover, many celebs like Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan added charm to the event with their performances. Trupti Dimri has also made her dance debut at the Filmfare Awards 2024 Ceremony.

Sam Bahadru left Jawan-Pathan behind

Shahrukh Khan’s film ‘Jawaan’ has brought a brilliant story to the audience showing the truth of corruption, which was given a lot of love by the audience at the box office. At the same time, Jawan has received the Best Action Movie Award at Filmfare this year. Along with this, Jawan has also won the award for Best VFX. Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal, released on December 1 last year, has won the best background score. Animal has also won the title in the category of Best Sound Design.

Also, Sam Bahadur of Vicky Kaushal has received the most awards in Filmfare. This film first got the award in the category of Best Costume, then it also got the award for Best Sound Design and Best Production Design.

12th fail got Filmfare Award 2024

Vidhu Vinod Chopra has received an award in Filmfare for 12th Fail. 12th Fail has also been given the award for Best Editing. Also, Ganesh Acharya has received the award for the best choreography of the song ‘What Jhumka’ from the film Rocky Rani Ki Prem Kahani.

Flat 211 Movie Review

Recently I was browsing in my free time and in an upset mood on Amazon Prime to see a movie. Suddenly the poster of Flat 211 caught my attention and I make up my mind to watch it.

Although it was released in 2017 many of us might have missed it and gone unnoticed. This may be because the promotion was not done properly just like big movies or due to the not well-known cast of the movie.

Flat 211 is a thriller movie regarding an incident in flat 211 directed by Dubai-based IT professional Sunil Sanjan. Sunil is from a non-Bollywood background and tried to present something new.
All characters are shady and played well by Jayesh Raj, Sonal Singh, Samonica Shrivastava, and Digvijay Singh…

The plot of the movie is good that keeps viewers engaged about what next will happen which is a basic requirement of a suspense thriller movie.

The mystery story of murder in Flat 211 is good to watch at least once. More work to tighten up the script can make it a wonderful movie.

This movie is good to watch especially for those who love Hollywood thriller movies.

Background music is good along with a few songs by Mika Singh and Divya Kumar.

Flat 211 has highlighted the consequences of desires to gain in life and falling into the trap.

Frankly speaking, this movie has changed my mood.

I suggest the young generation to watch the movie. It’s worth spending money on this type of movie.

Chehre movie review

Yesterday late at night I was changing channels as usual without any intention to find some good program or film suddenly I found a movie has just started. The initial shots of the movie stopped me and bound me to remove my hand from the remote.

It was a beautiful shot of the hilly area covered with white snow and a car passing in between the beautiful trees covered by snow.

In the next shot of the movie, Emraan Hashmi was driving the car.

Normally I avoid watching movies with Emraan Hashmi I don’t know the reason probably because I don’t like his acting in a monotonous way and a few intense scenes with heroines in every film.

I was supposed to change the channel at that time but it was Annu Kapoor in a Sikh role that stopped my hand again.

I’m not a fan of Annu Kapoor but I admire a few roles he has played in a few movies.

Now after watching the complete movie, I appreciated my decision not to change the channel.

Are you interested to know more about the movie?

It’s a suspense, thriller, game show, and courtroom drama raising some issues of crime in a very interesting way.

In this movie, a mask is been removed from a person after a long interesting discussion.

I’m not going to disclose the story of the movie to maintain your curiosity and your enjoyment while watching the Chehre Movie.

The only thing I want to say is that it’s based on the novel “A Dangerous Game” written in the year 1956 by Swiss writer Friedrich Dürrenmatt.

Chehre Movie Review.

The story of Chehre is fantastic. If the screenplay should have been written somewhat more effectively it can be a fantastic film. Although it is capable to hold the viewers till the last scene.

The closing statement by Amitabh Bachchan is very lengthy and a few dialogues were repetitive. Although the strong voice of Amitabh Bachchan had tried to cover up boring.

As usual, Amitabh Bachchan has done good acting although it reminded me of his role in Pink. But it’s my observation that his acting is more impressive during short dialogues or a few dialogues. A few directors make mistakes by giving him more dialogue due to his strong voice.

Annu Kapoor has done natural acting and impressed me with his calibre. He has justified the role of a Sikh.

Emraan Hashmi has done more mature acting as compared to his previous movies. But during the flashback scenes, he was the same as in old movies.

Dhritiman Chatterjee and Raghuveer Yadav have nothing to do more in the movie still they showed their strong presence fitting in the role.

Rhea Chakraborty looked beautiful still she has to work more on her acting. The role she played doesn’t match her expressions.

Krystle D’Souza looked stunning, especially during intimate scenes with Emraan Hashmi. She deserves the role and played very well.

The rest were ok in their short role.

Regarding the music of the movie, there was no scope for any song. Background music didn’t make any impact probably I didn’t notice.

The photography was decent, especially capturing the shots of Slovakia and in the room without light.

The “Chehre” movie was released in theatres in August 2021.

Overall I would like to give a rank of 4/5 due to the good story and impactful presentation. I recommend not missing this movie Chehre.

Before deciding to go on a group honeymoon watch the Punjabi Movie “Honeymoon”.

Yesterday I was feeling bored hence I decided to go to a movie along with my wife after a very long time.

To take a decision is a really very tough job, especially for a new movie due to the lack of reviews and your mood.

Anyway, we decided to go to watch Honeymoon since it was the only Punjabi movie running in my city and we love to watch Punjabi movies.

Believe me, friends you are going to laugh while watching “Honeymoon” throughout the entire movie due to the situation created. It’s really a fun movie with a strong social message.

I don’t want to go into the details of the well-written story of the Honeymoon movie since it will spoil your pleasure.

Honeymoon is directed by Amar Preet Chhabra.

He managed to engage the audience throughout the movie with continuously changing circumstances. He was successful by taking out the best in every actor. After intermission for a few minutes, a sad incident made me sad. I think that can be shortened for more impact.

Writer Naresh Kathooria should pat on his back for a tight script.

Starcast of Honeymoon

Gippy Grewal: He is a famous hero in Punjabi Movies. As usual, his performance is good.

Jasmin Bhasin: I’m sure that you still remember her cuteness in Big Boss and as Twinkle Taneja in the Tashan-e-Ishq Tv serial. She looked beautiful and charming in the Honeymoon movie which is her first Punjabi Movie. I hoped she will get a warm welcome in Punjabi movies due to her work.

Nirmal Rishi. She is a well-known senior actress in Punjabi movies. She is the life of this movie with her great performance.

Karamjit Anmol, Harby Sangha, Raj Dhaliwal and a few other actors have justified their roles.

The music given by B Praak is good to some extent. Although it breaks the continuity of the movie during the romantic song.

Pakeezah a classic Bollywood Movie

Pakeezah is a classic Bollywood film released in 1972, directed by Kamal Amrohi, starring Meena Kumari, Raaj Kumar, and Ashok Kumar. It’s a timeless tale of love, sacrifice, and redemption set against the backdrop of the traditional courtesan culture of pre-independence India.
