The Danapur festival special train has been announced by the railway authorities to facilitate passengers of UP and Bihar during Diwali. The Railways is set to introduce a new special train for passengers travelling from Kota to Bihar and Uttar Pradesh in celebration of Diwali. This train will operate directly between Kota’s Sogaria station and Danapur, Bihar, ensuring convenient and accessible travel for all.
This train will run from Kota from September 27th to November 1st. It will return from 29th September to 3rd November.
A large number of coaching students from UP and Bihar come to Kota to study. On the other hand, these students also have holidays during Diwali. These students also have to face the inconvenience of waiting for trains. On the other hand, there is also a problem when a confirmed ticket is not available.
In view of all this, to provide convenience to additional passengers on the occasion of the festival, the Railways has announced to run a special train between Sogariya station of Kota and Danapur. This train will make six trips on both sides. However, before this, another special train is also running between Sogaria and Danapur.

Time table of the Danapur festival special train
Train no. 09821 (Sogaria-Danapur) will leave from Sogaria station every Saturday at 11:10 pm. This train will reach Baran at 11:53 pm, Salpura at 12:28 late at night and Chhabra Gugor at 12:48. Finally, it will reach Danapur the next day on Sunday at 11:45 pm.
In the return direction, train number 09822 (Danapur-Sogaria) will depart from Danapur station every Monday at 01.15 pm. This train will reach Sogariya station on Tuesday at 01.10 hrs, stopping at Ashok Nagar at 19.38 hrs, Guna at 20.55 hrs, Ruthiyai at 21.48 hrs, Chhabra Gugaur at 22.18 hrs, Salpura at 22.33 hrs and Baran stations at 23.13.
Train stoppages are Baran, Salpura, Chhabra, Gugor, Ruthiai, Guna, Ashok Nagar, Sagar, Damoh, Katni, Maihar, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj, Chivki, Mirzapur, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay, Boxer and Ara stations.
