Gayatri Rathore conducted a surprise inspection at Zanana Hospital and Women’s Hospital at Sanganeri Gate late Thursday night. Gayatri Rathore is the Chief Government Secretary of the Medical and Health Department. She gave instructions to improve health services further and make them patient-friendly.

Mrs Gayatri Rathore left her office at around 8.30 pm and suddenly reached Zanana Hospital and reached the Women’s Hospital at around 9.30 pm. She visited various units including the general ward, ICU, labour room, and NICU and took stock of the health facilities there. Senior doctors were also present during the night as per their shifts. Additional Director of Academic Medical Education Dr. Rashmi Sharma was also present during the inspection.

Work from home for women

Instruction given by Gayatri Rathore

Gayatri Rathore instructed the doctors and other health workers present on the spot that there should be no shortage of treatment for the patients. She instructed that the patients arriving in an emergency should receive immediate treatment.

The Chief Government Secretary gave instructions to further improve the cleanliness system in the hospital. She said that there should be regular monitoring of cleanliness. Moreover, arrangements should be made for separate toilets for male and female doctors and health workers.

Mrs Gayatri Rathod expressed satisfaction with the arrangements of the ICU in the women’s hospital. She gave instructions to complete the ongoing construction work soon.

Instruction for security

Mrs. Gayatri Rathore instructed that the security arrangements in the hospital be further strengthened. She said that an adequate number of guards should be deployed in the hospital. Moreover, Women’s hospitals should appoint as many female guards as possible. Furthermore, the hospital should monitor and control the entry of unauthorized individuals. Additionally, she instructed that High-capacity CCTV cameras should be installed at all sensitive places.

She directed to ensure that an energy audit of all hospitals is also done. Maintenance of electrically operated equipment should be done in hospitals from time to time. Furthermore, she instructed that electrical wires should be arranged in an organized manner on the premises.
