The government of Haryana announced big schemes and relaxations for Agniveers. The government will provide 10% reservation to Agniveers while recruiting for the posts of constable, mining guard, forest guard, jail warden and SPO. Apart from this, a relaxation of 3 years will be given in the maximum age limit for Group C and Group D posts in government jobs. A 5% horizontal reservation will be given in direct recruitment to civil posts in Group C. Moreover, a 1% horizontal reservation will be given in Group B.

Furthermore, Agniveer will provide interest-free loans up to Rs 5 lakh for setting up any small-scale industry. Moreover, Arm licenses will be provided to Agniveers on a priority basis. Agniveers seeking posting in Government Departments/Boards/Corporations will be given preference in matrix score.

The government of Haryana has taken many important steps for the welfare of the Agniveers. From government recruitment to private industries, the Haryana government will now take good care of their interests. If in any industrial unit, Agniveer is given a salary of more than ₹ 30 thousand per month, then an annual subsidy of ₹ 60 thousand will be given to that industrial unit by the government.

Why the Government of Haryana took this decision

Chief Minister Nayab Saini said that a lot of rumours and false information are spread by the Congress regarding Agniveer. To counter this false information the government of Haryana has taken this step. Furthermore, the Government of Haryana is working at the forefront for the welfare of Agniveers. As per the policies of PM Modi, we are taking care of the farmers and soldiers on a priority basis.

Recruitment of Agniveers in the Air Force

Under the Agniveer Scheme, the Indian Air Force has invited online applications from unmarried Indian male and female candidates for the selection examination for entry into the Agniveer Air Force. Online registration will be done till July 28, for which online examination will be held from October 18.

Candidates should be born between 3rd July 2004 to 3rd January 2008 (both dates inclusive). To apply, a candidate must have at least 50% marks in his/her minimum education. Candidates will have to pay Rs 550 plus GST as fees.
