Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO) is developing the country’s second Japanese zone at Ghiloth in Kotputli-Behror district. 36 plots have been proposed on 156 hectares of land, i.e. about 964 bighas of land. Two of these plots have been allotted to Japanese companies. Automobile, auto component, engineering, electronics, and support industries will be established here. The development of this industrial zone will boost the economy. Officials associated with the Industry Department say that in the coming time, many more foreign companies may come forward to invest here.

The first Neemrana Japanese Zone laid the foundation for this brand-new project. Established years ago, it successfully transformed a quiet region into a bustling industrial powerhouse. Because of its massive success, authorities decided to replicate this model on 964 bighas of land to accommodate more companies.

More than 48 Japanese companies have invested approximately $8.34 billion here. It employs over 26,000 people. Neemrana to Ghiloth is approximately 20 km away.
Ghiloth was carefully selected. Ghiloth’s location, close to the Delhi-Jaipur Highway and the freight corridor, made it ideal for industrial development. Ghiloth is only 41 kilometres from the Paniyala Highway. The Trans-Haryana Expressway, also known as the 152D Highway, is also close to this industrial area. This will ensure that industrial units have no transportation difficulties.
