Japanese Zone

Japanese zone will be built on 964 bighas of land in Rajasthan.

Japanese Zone denotes the specialised industrial and residential parks created for Japanese businesses active in India. Japanese zone development is taking a massive leap forward in India. The government has announced that the country’s second dedicated industrial area for Japanese companies will be built in Rajasthan.

Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO) is developing the country’s second Japanese zone at Ghiloth in Kotputli-Behror district. 36 plots have been proposed on 156 hectares of land, i.e. about 964 bighas of land. Two of these plots have been allotted to Japanese companies. Automobile, auto component, engineering, electronics, and support industries will be established here. The development of this industrial zone will boost the economy. Officials associated with the Industry Department say that in the coming time, many more foreign companies may come forward to invest here.

The Success Story of the Neemrana Japanese Zone

The first Neemrana Japanese Zone laid the foundation for this brand-new project. Established years ago, it successfully transformed a quiet region into a bustling industrial powerhouse. Many famous Japanese corporations set up their manufacturing headquarters here due to excellent government support. Because of its massive success, authorities decided to replicate this model on 964 bighas of land to accommodate more companies.

Success

Inside the Neemrana Industrial Area Japanese Zone

The Neemrana Industrial Area Japanese Zone proved that dedicated country-specific hubs can work wonders. This region became famous for producing high-quality automotive components and electronic goods. Moreover, it created a highly skilled local workforce trained under strict Japanese management standards. The financial success of this older area is the primary reason why the state is expanding the concept today.

The Role of the Japanese Park in Promoting Innovation

A beautifully designed Japanese Park environment within these zones ensures a great work culture. These spaces blend heavy industry with green, eco-friendly infrastructure to keep pollution levels low. This organised design appeals directly to international investors who value environmental safety. Ultimately, the new 964-bigha project will follow these exact standards to create a clean, modern, and highly productive industrial ecosystem.

Ghithol will become Rajasthan’s new industrial powerhouse

Ghiloth will emerge as Rajasthan’s new industrial powerhouse in the coming years. The first Japanese zone is operating in Neemrana, which also falls within the Kotputli-Behror district. More than 48 Japanese companies have invested approximately $8.34 billion here. It employs over 26,000 people. Neemrana to Ghiloth is approximately 20 km away.

Ghiloth was carefully selected. Ghiloth’s location, close to the Delhi-Jaipur Highway and the freight corridor, made it ideal for industrial development. Ghiloth is only 41 kilometres from the Paniyala Highway. The Trans-Haryana Expressway, also known as the 152D Highway, is also close to this industrial area. This will ensure that industrial units have no transportation difficulties.

Grow Business

Industrial Growth via the New Japanese Zone

Economic progress will accelerate quickly with the introduction of this new Japanese zone. The government intends to use this specialised hub to introduce advanced technology into the local manufacturing ecosystem. Because of this, small and medium enterprises in Rajasthan will get the opportunity to supply raw materials to major international brands. This network will build a stronger local supply chain and improve the overall economy of the state.

This massive project will cover 964 bighas of land to accommodate global manufacturing giants. Consequently, this expansion will boost local employment and strengthen business ties between India and Japan. The state government is already preparing the infrastructure to welcome new investments very soon.

The development of a new industrial zone will employ local youth. An Indian zone will also be established adjacent to this Japanese zone. This will also boost business activity in the surrounding towns and villages. Real estate, hotels, transportation, and the service sector will also benefit directly.

Seamless Infrastructure in the Japanese zone

The layout of the new Japanese zone focuses on modern facilities and sustainability. Advanced waste management systems and dedicated power grids will be installed to support heavy industries. In addition, wide transport corridors will connect this area to major national highways. Therefore, companies operating inside the hub can easily move their finished goods to ports and major markets across India.
