Who is Madhavi Latha
Madhavi Latha, also known as Kompella Madhavi Latha, played a prominent role in BJP’s campaign against triple talaq. Thereafter she came into the eyes of the BJP. Madhavi is a cultural activist and currently serves as the chairman of Virinchi Hospital in Hyderabad. Besides being a professional Bharatnatyam dancer, she is also a mother to three children – two daughters and a son. Madhavi is known for homeschooling all of her children and her eldest child is now studying at IIT.
Madhavi Latha pursued her studies in political science. Additionally, she was a member of the NCC cadet. Madhavi Latha’s husband, Vishwanath, is the founder and chairman of the Virinchi Hospital. Moreover, Madhavi is also recognized as a religious speaker and has shown her commitment towards Hindu causes. Furthermore, she is also associated with various charitable organizations such as Lopamudra Charitable Trust, LathaMa Foundation, etc.
Challenger to Owaisi
Madhavi Latha, 49, is the first female candidate nominated by BJP in Hyderabad. Her name from Owaisi’s constituency came as a surprise. She is considered a challenger to Owaisi.
Madhavi Latha stated that she has been working in the constituency for a year. She mentioned that during the past year, she has been visiting all the areas every day and working for 11-12 hours. According to her, there is a lack of cleanliness and education in those areas. Additionally, she pointed out that children in Madrasas are not receiving food, and Muslim children are becoming child labourers with no future.
Moreover, Madhavi expressed her concern that Hindu temples and homes are being illegally occupied. Madhavi made these statements in Hyderabad’s Old City, questioning why the area is in such a pathetic condition despite being at the heart of Hyderabad- a city for which Telangana and Andhra Pradesh fought. She emphasized that despite being in the centre of Hyderabad, poverty persists in the Old City.

Narendra Modi posted on X praising Madhavi for making solid points with logic and passion in Aap ki Adalat. He also recommended to watch the repeat telecast.
Madhavi Latha reposted Narendra Modi’s post with a quote. She said, “Modi ji, I have gained the courage to fearlessly speak the truth only because of you and our party’s ideal. Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas is my inspiration. We will follow the path shown by you until our last breath and this time, we will ensure BJP’s victory in the Hyderabad Lok Sabha.”
