Mahendrajeet Singh Malviya joined BJP

Mahendrajeet Singh Malviya one of the senior leaders of Rajasthan has joined the BJP. He was one of the big tribal leaders of Congress. He left the Congress party giving a major setback in Rajasthan. The discussions and speculations that were going on for the last three to four days regarding Malviya have come to an end. Mahendrajit Singh Malviya was the Cabinet Minister for Water Resources, IGNP, Department of Water Resources Planning in the Government of Rajasthan. He is a former Member of Parliament, from Banswada Lok Sabha constituency in the 12th Lok Sabha. He is the MLA from Bagidora Assembly Constituency and leader of the Indian National Congress.

Malviya was born on December 2, 1960, in Banswada, Rajasthan. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in economics from Maharaja’s College, Udaipur in 1982. He entered politics in 1985 and was elected as a member of Banswada District Panchayat. In 1990, he was elected to the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly. and served till 1998. He was elected to the 12th Lok Sabha in 1998. In 2003, he became the Cabinet Minister for Water Resources, IGNP, Water Resources Planning Department in the Government of Rajasthan. Malviya is a tribal leader and has dedicated his life to fighting for the rights of the tribal community. He is a popular leader in the tribal community in Rajasthan.

Mahendrajeet Singh Malviya said ‘I came back home’

In his first address after joining the BJP, Mahendrajit Singh Malviya said that joining the BJP is my homecoming. He gave information about his political journey so far. He said that he started student politics as a worker of BJP’s student organization Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad. During his college education, he discharged many important responsibilities under the banner of ABVP.

In this situation, the Congress Party’s decision to boycott the Praman Pratishtha Mahotsav of Ram Temple held on the 22nd seemed inappropriate.

Hopes of Malviya

Expressing hope for development in his area, Malviya said that after joining the BJP, the Vagad area will be able to develop. With the help of Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh adjacent to us, development will be possible in rural areas. Furthermore, due to the double-engine government in Rajasthan, the development in his area will be at a fast pace.

Moreover, Malviya said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has recently come to Mangarh Dham and increased the respect of the tribals, the saints living there and the Vagad area. Additionally, He was the first Prime Minister who came to Mangarh Dham and worked to increase the pride of this region across the country.
