Pension is directly into the bank accounts of more than 88 lakh pensioners in Rajasthan by CM Bhajan Lal Sharma. More than Rs 1037 crore of pension is transferred directly. CM Sharma in the state-level social security pension program in Jhunjhunu on Thursday transferred the amount by pressing a button.
On this occasion, CM said that the state government is committed to the upliftment of the person standing at the last mile by taking forward the concept of Integral Humanism and Antyodaya of Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay.
Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma said that a well-mannered and developed society remains sensitive to the development of all sections. Pension in the form of social security provides financial support to the needy. Moreover, it also keeps them connected to the mainstream. Keeping this in mind, the state government has increased the scope of social security pension schemes. Furthermore, also increased the pension amount. He said that our government is determined for the upliftment of all sections. It includes old people, single women, and disabled people and will not allow their social security cover to weaken.
Rajasthan government is providing financial support to the needy through Mukhyamantri Vriddhajan Samman Pension Yojana, Mukhyamantri Ekal Nari Samman Pension Yojana, Mukhyamantri Vishesh Yogjan Samman Pension Yojana, Small and Marginal Old Age Farmers Samman Pension Scheme.
New beneficiaries joined pension schemes
The Chief Minister said that the state government has increased the amount in the Social Security Pension Scheme from Rs 1,000 to Rs 1,150. Moreover, it will be increased in a phased manner. Every promise of the resolution letter is being fulfilled. He said that at present more than 88 lakh people are being benefited under the Social Security Pension Scheme by the State Government. Our government has added more than 2 lakh 41 thousand new beneficiaries to these pension schemes in a short time of 6 months of its formation.
Also, more than 2 lakh 74 thousand people are getting pension benefits in Jhunjhunu district, to whom Rs 32 crore 27 lakh is being transferred monthly as pension. He said that a digitalized process is being adopted in these pension schemes. Due to this pensioners are being ensured to avail the benefits of the schemes without any hassle.
The Prime Minister’s guarantee and the state government’s resolve fulfilled
Shri Sharma said that after independence, some political parties made false promises and misled the common people through appeasement politics and corruption. But in the last 10 years, during the tenure of the successful Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, there has been improvement in the country’s poor welfare, and border security. Moreover, Various decisions have been taken for economic empowerment, which has increased India’s respect abroad.
The state government has taken important decisions like increasing the amount under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi from Rs 6,000 to Rs 8,000, giving a bonus of Rs 125 on wheat MSP to Rs 2,400 per quintal, gas cylinder at Rs 450, which will help every section of the society. Has got relief. Also, the guarantee of the Prime Minister and the resolution of the state government have been fulfilled.
The state government is providing better opportunities for education
The Chief Minister said that under the Palanhar Scheme, the state government is providing financial assistance of up to Rs 1,500 per month for children up to 6 years of age and Rs 2,500 per month for children between 6 to 18 years of age. In April and May, 5 lakh 82 thousand children have been given the benefit of the scheme by spending Rs 234 crore.
He said that under the Chief Minister Anuprati Coaching Scheme and Post Matric Scholarship Scheme, better education opportunities are being provided to various sections through scholarships. In the current financial year till May, Rs 17 crore 60 lakh have been spent and scholarships have been given to 16 thousand students. He assured the state government is working on Baba Saheb’s principle of establishing an egalitarian society.
In the program, Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Shri Avinash Gehlot said that the state government is continuously working towards realizing Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s dream of a developed India. Under the able leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, the state government is empowering by providing economic support. The government is raising orphans and helpless children. Moreover, the government is providing financial protection for older citizens. Furthermore, CM is working for the education of children to the employment of youth.
The Chief Minister interacted with the pension beneficiaries
The Chief Minister also interacted with the pension beneficiaries through video conferencing in the program. The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister for increasing the amount under the scheme. Kaushalya, a beneficiary of the Chief Minister Ekal Nari Pension Scheme from Bikaner, thanked the Chief Minister and said that the increase in the pension amount has given us financial strength.
Ramratna, a beneficiary of Chief Minister Special Yogjan Samman Pension Scheme from Beawar, said ‘पेंशन री राशि बढ़ावा वास्ते घण्णा हेत सूं.., घण्णा कोर सूं.., घण्णा मान सूं… आपरो आभार।. That means he was grateful for increasing pension and said thanks.
Before this, the Chief Minister also planted Ashoka saplings in the sports ground. Devnarayan Board Chairman Mr Omprakash Bhadana, MLA Mr Vikram Singh Jakhal, Mr Dharampal Gurjar, District Head Mrs Harshini Kulhari, Additional Chief Secretary Social Justice and Empowerment Mr Kuldeep Ranka along with former MLAs, other public representatives, senior officers and beneficiaries were present in the program. Also, local public representatives and beneficiaries from all the district headquarters joined the function through video conferencing.
