Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said the Electric Cable Highway is being built between Jaipur and Delhi. One can reach Jaipur from Delhi in two hours through this proposed highway.
He said that construction of overbridges is going on between Jaipur to Delhi road and on Kishangarh-Jaipur road. Additionally, a new highway is being built on one side of Dausa. Moreover, an electric cable highway is being built between Delhi and Jaipur. One can reach Jaipur to Delhi in two hours through this proposed highway. Furthermore, this journey will be 30% cheaper. He said that in five years the country will see vehicles powered by electric, ethanol and hydrogen.
What is an electric cable highway?
An electric cable highway is a road that supplies electricity to vehicles travelling on it. The electricity can be supplied through overhead power lines or power lines set into grooves in the road. Electric highways are an energy-efficient option. They can also reduce travel time.
India’s first electric highway is being developed between Sohna and Jaipur on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. The highway will initially be used for bus operations, but may later allow commercial trucks.

Gadkari said in the public meeting in support of BJP candidate Rathod that the country will develop only when Rajasthan develops. BJP is not a party of any family but of workers. The country has to be made self-reliant and only BJP can fulfill this dream.
At the same time, an attempt was made to woo the voters by holding a road show in support of BJP candidate Diya Kumari from Vidyadhar Nagar.
Gadkari held an 8 km long road show at 4.30 pm supporting BJP candidate Diya Kumari from Vidyadhar Nagar. The roadshow started at Parshuram Circle and passed through Murlipura and Nadi Ka Phatak, ending at Nadi Ka Phatak at 6:30 pm. Finally, after reaching the Nadi Ka Phatak, the roadshow turned into a meeting. In the meeting, Nitin Gadkari targeted Congress in his familiar style and appealed to make Diya Kumari victorious. BJP workers also showered flowers during the roadshow.
