Congress declared Tikaram Jully as Leader of the Opposition

Congress has surprised everyone by making Tikaram Jully the Leader of the Opposition. It is seen as an attempt to woo the Dalit vote bank in the coming Lok Sabha elections.

Before the beginning of the 16th Assembly session starting from January 19, Congress has appointed the Leader of the Opposition. Surprising everyone, the Congress party’s high command has made Tikaram Jully, the leader of the opposition. Tikaram Jully is an MLA from Alwar Rural and was a cabinet minister in the previous Gehlot government. Whereas Govind Singh Dotasara will remain the President of the State Congress.

This decision of the Congress party is also being seen as an attempt to woo the Jat-Dalit vote bank. Congress decided this because of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. This is probably the first time that Congress has given the responsibility of Leader of Opposition to a Dalit face. However, as Jat faces, the names of Govind Singh Dotasara and Harish Chaudhary were also in the race for Leader of the Opposition. Mahendrajit Singh Malviya was also in discussion as ST face. But this time the party has played its bet on Dalit face. The party appointed the Leader of the Opposition after about one and a half months.

Congress National General Secretary Jitendra Singh played a big role

According to experts, Congress National General Secretary and former MP Jitendra Singh played a big role in making Tikaram Jully the Leader of the Opposition. Jully is considered very close to Jitendra Singh. For the last several days, Singh has been lobbying hard in Delhi for this.

Tikaram Jully is third time MLA from Alwar Rural

Tikaram Jully, born on 30 November 1980 in Kathuwas, Alwar, is the third-time MLA from Alwar Rural. He first became MLA in 2008, then was elected MLA in 2018 and 2023. Jully started his political career in Panchayat Raj. Apart from being the youngest district chief of Alwar, he has also been the President of the Alwar Rural Congress. Apart from this, he was the Minister of State in the previous Gehlot government from 24 December 2018 to 20 November 2021. After that, he was the Cabinet Minister in the cabinet reorganisation.

Congress Party expressed confidence in Dotasara

The Congress party high command has once again expressed confidence in the name of Govind Singh Dotasara for the post of State Congress President. Dotasara has been working on this post since July 15, 2020. Dotasara is considered to have a significant influence in the Shekhawati region. Congress has also performed better in the assembly elections in the Sikar, Jhunjhunu and Churu districts of the Shekhawati region. In the past, the results of by-elections held under his leadership were also in favour of the party. The Congress party is also in the role of a strong opposition in the results of the recently held assembly elections.

The leader of the Opposition gets equal facilities as a cabinet minister

After the appointment by Congress, now the gazette notification of the Leader of the Opposition will also be issued from the Assembly. The Leader of the Opposition is given equal facilities to a Cabinet Minister. Due to this, along with getting government accommodation and other facilities, he will also get an office in the Legislative Assembly.

Now Tikaram Jully will oppose the government on issues of public interest. After becoming the Leader of the Opposition, Tikaram Jully said in a conversation with the media that he would challenge the government in the House and outside the House on issues of public interest. It has been one and a half months since the government was formed but the Chief Minister is not able to get out of the slip. No new works have been started, and the works that were going on have been stopped.

Surendra Pal Singh TT Resigned from Rajasthan Cabinet

Surendra Pal Singh TT has resigned from the Rajasthan cabinet minister post yesterday. The governor has accepted his resignation. In the elections of Karanpur assembly constituency, Congress candidate Rupinder Singh alias Ruby Kunnar has defeated BJP candidate and recently made minister Surendra Pal Singh TT. Kunnar defeated BJP candidate and Minister of State Surendrapal Singh TT by a margin of 11 thousand 283 votes.

Surendra Pal Singh TT has the department but has not yet taken charge of the secretariat. TT has been allotted a room in the main building. TT is probably the first minister who became a minister without becoming an MLA. Moreover, he lost the election after taking oath as a minister.

The defeat of TT has dealt a big blow to both the BJP government and the organization. This was the first political test of the BJP after the formation of the government. Which both the power and the organization could not pass. Surendra Pal Singh TT has resigned from the post of minister after losing the election from the Srikaranpur assembly seat in the Sriganganagar district. Governor Kalraj Mishra has accepted his resignation.

    Always Win

Defeat of Surendra Pal Singh TT

The elections were postponed due to the death of Gurmeet Singh Kunnar, former MLA from Karanpur and Congress candidate. After the announcement of the elections, Congress played the sympathy card by making his son Rupinder Singh Ruby Kunnar a candidate. At the same time, BJP not only made former MLA Surendrapal Singh TT its candidate. But also played a big political gamble by making him Minister of State in the newly formed government before the voting. But in the counting of votes held on Monday, the Minister of State TT had to face defeat.

Excitement in the first round, disappointment in the second round

When BJP candidate TT got a lead of 724 votes in the first round, there was a wave of happiness among BJP people and TT supporters. At the counting venue, the counting agents raised slogans of Jai Shri Ram. This happiness evaporated in the next round. In the second round, Kunnar of Congress performed well and gained a lead of 184 votes, stopping TT’s lead.

Of the total 18 rounds, apart from the first and fifteenth rounds, there was not even a single round in which TT got the lead. Only Congress candidates were ahead in 16 out of 18 rounds. The deposits of other candidates were confiscated.

Kunnar remained ahead of Surendra Pal Singh TT in the postal ballot vote.

Congress candidate Rupinder Singh Ruby Kunnar was also ahead of BJP candidate Surendrapal Singh TT by twenty votes in the postal ballot paper vote. While Kunnar got 189 votes, TT got only 167 votes. Aam Aadmi Party’s Prithipal Singh Sandhu got only 28 votes.

  • Maldives on the backfoot

    Maldives on the backfoot

Maldives on the backfoot due to strong reaction in India. Temperatures are rising between India and Maldives over the objectionable comments made by a government minister Mariam Shiuna and other leaders during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Lakshadweep.

These statements are described as a big blow to the relations between the two countries. Moreover, it has continuously derailed since Mohammad Muizzu became the President. Many celebrities and common people in India are expressing their displeasure about this. #BycottMaldives is trending on social media platforms in India.

    Affect on the Maldives

Meanwhile, the Maldives’ Mohammed Muizzoo government has started trying to compensate for the loss. The government first issued a statement distancing itself from the minister’s comments. After this, media reports quoting the government claimed that the people who made the comments had been suspended.

As per the report, the government of Maldives released a statement declaring that individuals who hold government positions and have made derogatory remarks about India on social media have been suspended. The Ministry of External Affairs has released a statement regarding the incident. According to media reports, apart from Maryam Shiuna, Malsha Sharif and Mahzoom Majid have also been suspended.

Statements of the leaders of the previous government of Maldives

The former deputy speaker confirmed the suspension of ministers. Former Deputy Speaker and MP of Maldives Eva Abdullah, while confirming the suspension of the ministers, has said that the government should apologize to the people of India. Eva Abdullah said, “We have been dependent on India for economic relations, social relations, health, education, business, tourism etc. People are aware of this and they are thankful for it. All political parties, including former ministers and coalition partners of the current government, have condemned the derogatory remarks.”

Before this, former President Mohammad Nasheed, former President Ibrahim Mohammad Solih and former Foreign Minister Abdullah Shahid condemned the statement and advised the current government.

    Muizzu Policy

Before Muizzu, Ibrahim Mohammed Solih was the President of Maldives and his government had implemented the policy of ‘India First’. Whereas Muizzu had contested the elections with the slogan of ‘India Out’. After winning the victory, Muizzu’s decisions started showing increasing distance in the relations between the two countries. Muizzu is considered closer to China than India.

    Foreign affairs experts criticized

On this matter, foreign affairs expert Robinder Sachdev said, this is condemnable. There is a section that is anti-India. India not only helps the economy through tourism. We also provide them with security. There was a coup in Maldives in 1988. India sent its troops and the coup was stopped within hours. Therefore India is for the national security of Maldives. There were occasions when the island experienced a severe shortage of water. India sent aircraft and our army with bottled water.

As per the foreign affairs experts MP Modi’s visit to Lakshadweep was to counter changing policies in Maldives. The result is a lot of Indian tourists cancelled hotel bookings and flights to Maldives. The tourists are diverting from Maldives to Lakshadweep, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and other beautiful beaches in India

Baba Balaknath was the first in the race to become CM. After that now he has lagged in the race to become a minister. Because his name did not appear in the recently formed cabinet. However, it is being said that to create balance in the cabinet, no saint was made a minister. At the same time, some political experts believe that Baba Balaknath has become a victim of media trials.

  • Rahul Gandhi will start the Bharat Nyay Yatra. Why?

Rahul Gandhi will start the Bharat Nyay Yatra. Why?

Rahul Gandhi will travel more than 6,200 kilometres by bus and on foot during the Bharat Nyay Yatra. It will start from Manipur, pass through Nagaland, Assam, Meghalaya, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Gujarat and end in Maharashtra. Thus, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi’s journey will pass through 14 states and 85 districts.

Before the 2024 general elections, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi is going to start the Bharat Nyay Yatra. This yatra will start from Manipur on 14th January and end in Mumbai on 20th March.

The reason for selecting 14 states

It seems that the total number of the Lok Sabha seats is the main reason for selecting these 14 states. All in all total of 355 Lok Sabha seats will be covered during this yatra.

    Manipur-2, Nagaland-1, Assam-14, Meghalaya-2, West Bengal-42, Bihar-40, Jharkhand-14, Odisha-21, Chhattisgarh-11, Uttar Pradesh-80, Madhya Pradesh-29, Rajasthan-25, Gujrat-26 and Maharastra-48.

Why is Rahul Gandhi starting the Bharat Nyay Yatra from Manipur?

After all, why did Rahul Gandhi choose Manipur for his Bharat Jodo Yatra 2.0? Let us know…

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra was first from South to North. Hence it was decided to do Yatra 2.0 from East to West. Rahul Gandhi had to choose the option for the second Yatra.

This journey should start from Parshuram Kund in Arunachal Pradesh, which is surrounded by Rudraksha trees. This could have easily been connected to Rahul’s devotion to Shiva. But, it could have been linked to the religious beliefs of Congress.

But Rahul Gandhi decided to start this journey from Manipur. Because heart-wrenching news and videos have been coming out from Manipur. Through this, Manipur has been chosen so that Rahul Gandhi can launch a strong political attack on the Modi government and its claim of a double-engine government. On the other hand, Hindu sentiments were also taken care of by starting this Yatra on 14th January on the day of Makar Sankranti.

Big message from a small state

A state like Manipur may be small but the message here is big. That is why Rahul Gandhi Yatra will start from here. Opposition party leaders were not associated with Rahul during the Bharat Jodo Yatra in various states including Uttar Pradesh. In this context, the strategy of Congress is to watch how much and what kind of support other parties of ‘India’ will give.

    Keep an eye on allies

Rahul Gandhi’s Yatra which is going to take place from Manipur to Maharashtra has a total of 355 Lok Sabha seats. At present Congress has only 14 seats out of 355 seats. If added all the seats of the “Indi” alliance the total is 67 seats. Moreover, Rahul Gandhi’s vision through Nyay Yatra will have at least 200 seats.

Rahul Gandhi’s journey is also going to pass through West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra. Where there are strong contenders in the ‘Indi’ alliance. In such a situation, there will be an eye on the partner parties.

    Challenge strategy through alliance

A strategy to challenge BJP through alliances in states like West Bengal, Bihar and Maharashtra Has been created. Out of 42 seats in West Bengal, BJP had won 18 seats last time. But this time the opposition is mobilizing and working on a strategy to stop the BJP. During this, the stand of Mamata Banerjee and Congress will make everything clear.

    Big challenge in Bihar

Rahul’s visit to Bihar to intensify the opposition’s campaign with the Nitish and RJD alliance, but before that, we will have to see Nitish’s attitude. Stopping the record performance of BJP’s victory in the last elections in Bihar is a challenge for the opposition.

According to Congress’s strategy, the strength of the ‘Indi’ alliance with Congress may increase in Maharashtra also. Congress has decided to end its tour in Maharashtra as per a well-thought-out strategy.

That’s why it was named Nyay Yatra

Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra was quite popular among the common people. Therefore, the name Nyay Yatra has been given considering the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Presenting to provide Nyay for everyone who is not getting during the BJP government.

This name has been given so that this Yatra can be associated with providing justice to the expectations of the public. Even though the party is avoiding calling it a political yatra, by naming it Nyay Yatra, it is carrying a political message among the public. If sources are to be believed, Priyanka Gandhi, who named the party’s minimum income scheme ‘Nyay’ in the 2019 elections, played an important role in naming this Yatra as Nyay Yatra.

Priyanka Gandhi will also support Nyay Yatra

Priyanka Gandhi was rarely seen in Bharat Jodo Yatra 1. But this time she will be seen more active in the Nyay Yatra. Party sources say that due to the preparations for the Lok Sabha elections, if Rahul suddenly has to leave in the middle of his trip to attend any election program or meeting, then Priyanka will be present on this trip.

During the Bharat Jodo Yatra, a large number of professionals from film, sports and other fields were seen walking with Rahul Gandhi. In such a situation, this time also the party’s Professional Congress Cell has already released its website and made an open call to all the professionals to join the Yatra.

Reaction to the Bharat Nyay Yatra of Rahul Gandhi

Before Rahul Gandhi leaves for the trip, sharp reactions are coming. Many Hindus and BJP supporters raised questions on social media platforms. While the Congress supporters are supporting Rahul Gandhi. Here are some of the reactions.

Why Rahul Gandhi is not going to start the Yatra from Arunachal Pradesh? Is it because of the secret MoU signed between China and Congress? He will touch 14 states but won’t pass through Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim bordering China.

Bharat Nyay Yatra in a nutshell… Soros & Co descends as 2024 elections cometh!!

Mamata Banerjee & Kejriwal had done a masterstroke on their part by proposing the name of Kharge ji in the Indi Alliance meeting. Now Rahul Gandhi is going on a Yatra from their states, the eyes of the entire country will be on Rahul and he will be at the centre.

    Kharge attempt to win 2024

Kharge on Saturday made the first major reshuffle in the organization during his tenure. Before the Lok Sabha elections in 2024, the team of Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge has been announced. Kharge did not experiment like the BJP in forming his new team. He gave preference to mostly experienced leaders instead of new faces. Through this reshuffle, Kharge is attempting to win the Lok Sabha Election in 2024 and holding tight to his position in the Congress.

    Reshuffles done by Kharge

While Priyanka Gandhi has been relieved of UP and made the General Secretary without charge, Sachin Pilot has been made the General Secretary and appointed in-charge of Chhattisgarh. Once again making changes in Madhya Pradesh, General Secretary Jitendra Singh has been given additional charge of Assam along with it. Due to the reshuffle, five leaders including Tariq Anwar and Harish Chaudhary have been removed from posts in the organization.

The party which is preparing for the Lok Sabha elections is strengthening its organization. During the reshuffle, the party seems to be setting aside things like the Udaipur resolution to avoid new experiments. However, the party has made three women general secretaries out of 12 general secretaries. Apart from this, to remove the ongoing discrepancy between North and South, 7 General Secretaries have been taken from the Hindi belt states of North India.

    Increase Percentage of Success

Priyanka Gandhi Vadara: General Secretary without charge, a hidden message given by Kharge

The party intends to utilize Priyanka Gandhi for organizational decisions and publicity across the country rather than limiting her to one state by keeping her as General Secretary with no responsibility. The party can also make her contest the Lok Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh. These may be the hidden messages.

One more hidden message some political experts may understand. Everyone in politics is ambitious, Kharge may not be an exemption. A proposal by Mamta Banerjee may have given a boost.

Sachin Pilot: Finally stepped into national politics

Differences between Ashok Gehlot and former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot in Rajasthan are well known. After Gehlot refused to accept the presidential post and join national politics it was a confusing state for the congress party. The party doesn’t want to lose anyone of them. Sachin Pilot’s political career growth in Rajasthan state was restricted. Probably this may be the reason for giving responsibility to Sachin in national politics. Finally, Pilot has stepped into national politics.

Although Pilot has campaigned in many states as a star campaigner, he has now formally got the responsibility of Chhattisgarh state. The challenge before him is to end the factionalism of Chhattisgarh. Moreover, he has to ensure victory in the Lok Sabha elections in 2024.

    Jitendra Singh: Trust remains intact

The party’s trust in Rajasthan’s Jitendra Singh remains intact. He has been made the General Secretary in charge of Assam. Along with this, an additional charge of Madhya Pradesh has been given to him by Kharge.

    Avinash Pandey’s stature increased again

Avinash Pandey of Maharashtra is among the experienced leaders of the organization. While he was in charge, Congress returned to power in Rajasthan in 2019. Instead of being in charge of Jharkhand, he has now been sent to Uttar Pradesh in place of Priyanka as general secretary.

    Deepa Dasmunshi-Female face

Deepa Dasmunshi has been made the additional general secretary in charge of Telangana along with Kerala-Lakshadweep. Dasmunshi can emerge as the new female face of the party.

Ghulam Mir and Nasir Hussain: New Muslim Faces

Ghulam Ahmed Mir of Jammu and Kashmir has been made the General Secretary and given the additional charge of West Bengal along with Jharkhand. Karnataka’s Rajya Sabha MP Nasir Hussain has been made in charge of the Congress President’s office. These two leaders can be big Muslim faces of the party in the coming days.

Venugopal, Jairam, and Wasnik are retained by Kharge

KC Venugopal has been retained as the organization’s general secretary. Similarly, Jairam Ramesh is in charge of communication and Mukul Wasnik is in charge of Gujarat. Whereas Deepak Babaria has been retained with the additional charge of Haryana along with Delhi.

Surjewala returned from MP and Selja’s state changed.

After the crushing defeat in Madhya Pradesh, the additional charge of Madhya Pradesh has been withdrawn from Randeep Surjewala. Now he has been kept as General Secretary in charge of Karnataka only. Similarly, after losing Chhattisgarh, Kumari Selja is been sent to Uttarakhand.

Two joint treasurers are appointed along with Treasurer Maken.

Ajay Maken will remain the treasurer. Whereas Milind Deora and Vijay Inder Singla have been appointed to the post of Joint Treasurer.

Those who are been removed may be accommodated elsewhere.

Tariq Anwar and Bhakta Charan Das, are been removed from the post of party general secretary. They have been asked to start preparing to contest the Lok Sabha elections. Similarly, Harish Chaudhary can be given important responsibility in Rajasthan. Apart from these, Rajni Patil and Manish Chatrath have been removed from the in-charge of the states.
