Karnataka Rajya Sabha Election 2024 Result
Three Congress candidates have won the Karnataka Rajya Sabha elections. Ajay Maken, Nasir Hussain and GC Chandrashekhar of the Congress succeeded. Congress candidates Ajay Maken, Dr Syed Naseer Hussain and GC Chandrashekhar won by 47, 46 and 46 votes respectively. Moreover, Narayan Bhandage of the BJP won in Karnataka. Furthermore, MLA ST Somashekar of the BJP cross-voted for Ajay Maken of Congress. Kupendra Reddy of JDS lost the election.
In the Karnataka Rajya Sabha Election, voting for four seats in the Upper House of Parliament occurred yesterday. In this election, five candidates competed. Ajay Maken, Syed Naseer Hussain, and G C Chandrasekhar from the Congress. Narayana Bandage from the BJP and Kupendra Reddy from JDS.
Himachal Rajya Sabha Election 2024 Result
BJP candidate Harsh Mahajan has won the Rajya Sabha election results in Himachal. Furthermore, with this victory, the BJP is preparing to bring a no-confidence motion in Himachal. Moreover, BJP leaders say that the government has lost its support in the state. Harsh Mahajan has won the MLA seat in Chamba thrice.
Voting was held in the Shimla Assembly for the only one Rajya Sabha seat from the state. Congress candidate Abhishek Manu Singhvi has lost in this. A total of 68 MLAs voted in Himachal. Both BJP and Congress candidates got 34-34 votes. But after a toss the decision was taken.
Amidst the Rajya Sabha election results in Himachal, it was being claimed that a total of 9 MLAs including six Congress MLAs from the state and those who have cross-voted are in touch with the BJP. Moreover, the BJP has taken all these MLAs to Chandigarh. There are 6 Congress MLAs among them. Besides, BJP leaders have also gone to Chandigarh along with the three independent MLAs.
UP Result
Elections were held on 10 Rajya Sabha seats in UP. Out of these, BJP candidates have won 8 seats and Samajwadi Party candidates have won 2 seats. Moreover, 395 voters have voted for all these 10 seats. BJP won 8 seats due to massive cross-voting by the Samajwadi Party’s MLA. At least 7 MLAs of the Samajwadi party have voted in favour of the BJP.
Yogi Adityanath congrats to all BJP candidates who won the election. Sudhanshu Trivedi, RPN Singh, Chaudhary Tejveer Singh, Sadhna Singh, Amarpal Maurya, Sangeeta Balwant and Agra Mayor Naveen Jain from the BJP have won. Jaya Bachchan from the Samajwadi Party and PDA candidate Ramjilal Suman also won the Rajya Sabha elections.
