BJP Candidates list released for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 in Rajasthan.

BJP on Sunday released the list of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 in Rajasthan. In this list, the BJP announced the names of candidates for 7 Lok Sabha seats in Rajasthan.

It is noteworthy that till now BJP has declared candidates for 22 out of 25 Lok Sabha seats in Rajasthan. Candidates are yet to be declared for 3 seats, which include Karauli-Dholpur, Dausa and Bhilwara seats. Furthermore, in Rajasthan Lok Sabha elections will be held in two phases. The first phase of voting will be on the 19th of April 2024. The second phase of the election will be on the 26th of April 2024. The results will be declared on the 4th of June 2024.

BJP preferred new candidates

In this BJP candidates list BJP has gambled on many new faces. The ticket of the current MP from Jaipur City Ram Charan Bohra has been cancelled. Manju Sharma has been fielded in her place.

Manju Sharma is the daughter of former MLA and senior BJP leader Bhanwar Lal Sharma. Presently she is the Jaipur in-charge of Rajasthan Mahila Pravashi Abhiyan. Furthermore, Manju Sharma’s father Bhanwar Lal Sharma was MLA from Hawamahal from 1977 to 1998. Moreover, Bhanwarlal Sharma has been MLA from Hawamahal 6 times, the record for the maximum number of MLAs in this area. Later he also remained a minister in the BJP government. Bhanwar Lal was elected once from the Janata Party and 5 times from the BJP ticket. Capitalizing on the theme of Jaipur’s daughter, the party has approved the name of Manju Sharma.

Prahlad Gunjal joined the Congress and may fight against Om Birla

Prahlad Gunjal took membership of Congress on Thursday in the presence of former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and PCC Chief Govind Singh Dotasra. Prahlad Gunjal is a former two-time MLA and a senior leader of BJP. It is a major reshuffle in Kota politics.

Prahlad Gunjal who comes from the background of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, has a lot of influence in the Gurjar community of three to four districts of Rajasthan. He was associated with the BJP for four decades. Furthermore, he was first elected from Ramganjmandi in Kota district in 2003.

There is political turmoil in Rajasthan before the Lok Sabha elections. Leaders of political parties are changing sides as per their wishes. Controversial leader Prahlad Gunjal, who was close to Vasundhara Raje, has now joined Congress. He can be made Congress candidate against BJP candidate Om Birla from Kota.

Shanti Dhariwal expressed displeasure

Veteran Congress leader Shanti Dhariwal has expressed displeasure over Gunjal joining Congress. Till now Shanti Dhariwal and Om Birla are big faces in Kota politics. After Prahlad Gunjal enters Congress, resentment is visible among the senior leaders of the Kota Congress.

Former minister Shanti Dhariwal said that Gunjal has to contest every election, win or lose. He said that first he fought elections against me and now he is going to fight against the BJP. However, he clarified that I am a 45-year-old Congressman and am with the party. He will accept whatever orders the party gives him and work for the party.

Viral Statement of Prahlad Gunjal

During joining the Congress Prahlad Gunjal has given a statement that is going viral. He said that I had not come here to spread the carpet of any leader. The face of Kota politics has been limited to the slavery of one person and lifting the carpet.

Gunjal targeted Birla without taking his name. He said that there are two brothers in the Kota division, one elder brother and one younger brother. On which former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot was seen smiling. When Prahlad Gunjal joined Congress, Ashok Gehlot was sitting with him.

Prahlad Gunjal said on one side there is selfishness and on the other side there is shopping. Gunjal said I was not junior to anyone in the BJP. When I became MLA for the first time, the current Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma was in the race to become Sarpanch.

Naresh Meena, youth leader of Kota division, also joined Congress on Thursday. It is noteworthy that earlier BJP MP from Churu Rahul Kaswa had joined Congress. Although a lot more shifted to the BJP from the Congress.

1,370 Congress representatives joined the BJP in Rajasthan.

Congress representatives are running away from the Congress party in Rajasthan. A lot of Congress representatives have joined the BJP in a single day. Before the Lok Sabha elections, BJP gave a big blow to Congress. Furthermore, the BJP included many of Congress’s senior leaders in the BJP. The number of leaders, workers, retired officers and people associated with social organizations joining the BJP is said to be around 1 thousand 370.

In the presence of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and State President CP Joshi, a large number of Congress representatives including leaders and workers, took membership of the BJP at the BJP state office on Sunday.

Which Congress representatives joined the BJP

Two leaders Rajendra Yadav and Lal Chand Kataria who were ministers during the Congress government joined the BJP. Moreover, these former ministers are considered closest to former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.

Furthermore, one former MP and five former MLAs, Joined the BJP. Out of these, the BJP has considered 45 Congress representatives as effective in their respective areas. All the Congress representatives from many assemblies including Jhotwara, and Kotputli joined the BJP.

Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav, Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, former Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathore and other senior BJP leaders were present at the ceremony.

Janata Sena also merged with the BJP

Janata Sena’s Randhir Singh Bhohar and his wife Dipendra Kans Bhinder have again joined the BJP. Gulabchand Kataria, the former Governor of Assam and a senior BJP leader, and Bhider never got along well. Bhider has his support base in Mewar. For that reason, the BJP has decided to join him again in the BJP. With Bhider’s return, the party hopes to gain three Lok Sabha seats. During this period, Bhinder also merged his party Janata Sena with BJP. In such a situation, now the board of Panchayat Samiti Bhidar will also be called the BJP Board.
