The UP police recruitment exam was cancelled by the UP government. After the paper was leaked, the candidates for the constable recruitment exam protested. They were demanding cancellation of the exam and re-conducting it.
Yogi government has taken a big decision on Saturday regarding the UP Police Constable Recruitment Examination. The Police Constable Recruitment Examination-2023 held on 17th and 18th February has been cancelled. After the paper leak, the candidates appearing in the examination protested. They were raising the demand to cancel the constable recruitment examination and conduct it again. Regarding this, the candidates also demonstrated in the four districts of the Bareilly division and submitted memorandums to the officers.
UP Police recruitment exam will be conducted in six months
The recently held UP Police constable recruitment exam has been cancelled following reports of paper leaking. According to Chief Minister Yogi, the examination will be conducted with complete cleanliness within six months. Moreover, he said that the strictest action would be taken against those who play with the hard work of the youth and the sanctity of the examination. Those who violate the confidentiality of the examination are on the radar of STF. Many major arrests have been made so far.
The government has instructed the Recruitment Board to ensure advance legal action by registering an FIR against any negligence at any level. Furthermore, the government has decided to get the case investigated by STF. The government has also given instructions to take the strictest action against the persons or institutions found guilty. Moreover, the government has given instructions to conduct the examination again with complete cleanliness within six months. The government will provide free facilities to the candidates through the services of Uttar Pradesh Transport Corporation.
There is no compromise with the sanctity of examinations.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath wrote in a post on social media that he has ordered to cancellation of the examination 2023 conducted for selection to the posts of reserved civil police and to conduct the examination again within the next six months. Furthermore, he said that no compromise can be made with the sanctity of examinations.
On the instructions of the Chief Minister, the Home Department has also issued an order to cancel the examination. According to the order issued, based on an examination of the facts and information received regarding the police recruitment examination held on 17 and 18 February 2024, the government has decided to cancel the examination.
Minister said- will not spare the culprits
District in-charge minister Jaiveer Singh, who reached Bareilly on Saturday, said that strictest action will be taken against those who have committed burglary. Moreover, the investigation is being conducted impartially and transparently. Furthermore, work has been done to send many accused to jail. Irrespective of the person, those who crack the Constable Recruitment Examination will not be spared at any cost.
