The exit polls have predicted that the BJP and its led NDA will come to power for the third consecutive time with an overwhelming majority. Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Voting ends, speculation begins. Now eyes are on June 4th. In the poll of polls, NDA got 366 seats, and India got 144 seats. BJP can set a milestone with 27% votes in Kerala.
The voting process for the eighteenth Lok Sabha, which lasted for about two and a half months, ended on Saturday with the seventh and final voting phase. In this phase, on average, more than 61% of voting took place on 57 seats in eight states and union territories.
Along with this, the speculation market became heated regarding the results of the exit polls conducted after the voting. Most of the exit polls have predicted BJP and its led NDA coming to power for the third consecutive time with an overwhelming majority. That means once again there are indications of the Modi government. The India group of Congress and its allies is not visible anywhere in the contest. However, it is also true that exit polls have not always proved correct. Now the eyes of the country are fixed on June 4 when the actual results will be revealed after the counting of votes.
NDA is likely to get 371 to 401 seats according to the exit polls
In the exit polls of both Today’s Chanakya and India TV, NDA is expected to get more than 400 seats as per Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s estimate. Today’s Chanakya has predicted 400 seats for NDA. While India TV has predicted NDA to get 371 to 401 seats. Exit polls of both of them have predicted that India Group will get 107 and 109 to 139 seats respectively. Others are said to get 36 and 28 to 38 seats respectively.

Signs of shock in Hindi-speaking states for NDA
However, some exit polls indicate setbacks in Hindi-speaking states like Bihar, Rajasthan and Haryana. BJP seems to be making good inroads in West Bengal. According to Axis-My India, the BJP seems to be getting a 27% vote share in Kerala. This could be a milestone for the right-wing BJP in this leftist state. Even in Tamil Nadu, BJP can open its account with one or two seats. NDA seems to be in a position to complete a sweep in Karnataka.
JP Nadda and Mallikarjun made claims
BJP national president Jagat Prakash Nadda claimed after the completion of voting that his party would win more than 370 seats. He said that he is confident that BJP will win more than 370 seats in this election and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will become the Prime Minister of the country for the third time.
On the other hand, Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge claimed after the India Group meeting that his alliance would win more than 295 seats. Congress media in-charge Jairam Ramesh said on the prediction of exit polls, “The person who has to exit on June 4 has managed the exit polls”.
A drop of blood helped the police to find out the murderers. A sessions court in Mumbai in Maharashtra on Tuesday sentenced two associates, Siddhesh Shantaram Tamhankar and Khushi Sajwani, to life imprisonment in the murder of Kirti Vyas. The special thing is that in this case the body of the deceased woman Kirti has not been found to date. Above all, the police had solved the murder with just a single drop of blood.
Siddhesh and Khushi Sajwani made a plan to kill
Kirti Vyas and both the accused worked in a salon named BBlunt. Kirti Vyas was the finance manager of the Andheri office of BBlunt. Ashoke Bhabani and Adhuna Bhabani are the founders of BBlunt. Moreover, Adhuna Bhabani is the estranged wife of film actor Farhan Akhtar. Furthermore, BBlunt has been part of the Bollywood journey for over a decade, setting trends for many Bollywood celebrities and fashionistas.
It is said that Siddhesh Tamhankar was not working properly, so Kirti had given one month’s notice to remove him. Angered by this, Siddhesh and Khushi made a plan to kill Kirti. Khushi Sajwani is Siddhesh’s girlfriend.
On March 16, 2018, Kirti went missing, and her family filed a complaint. Kirti Vyas a resident of Grant Road, left home for work and did not reach the office. Also, her sister Shefali reported that both her phones were switched off. During this time, to avoid suspicion, the accused Siddhesh and Khushi Sajwani also pretended to search for her. Afterwards, police learned from CCTV that Siddhesh was standing near Kirti’s house on the day she went missing.
Revealed by a drop of blood
Four months after the incident, the police found a drop of blood from the trunk of Khushi’s car. When its DNA was tested, it matched the DNA of Kirti’s parents. After that, the police arrested Siddesh and his girlfriend on charges of murder. Police said that Siddhesh and Khushi Sajwani had kidnapped Kirti, strangled her to death in the car and thrown the body in the creek of Wadala. Even though the body has not been found to date a drop of blood helped to get justice to Kirti.

Cybercrime prevention measures are taken by the telecom department and home ministry jointly by banning eight companies who were sending fraudulent SMS. More than 10,000 fraudulent messages were sent from these companies in the last three months. These measures are taken to prevent the increasing cybercrime in the country.
Cybercrime prevention measures taken by MHA
The Indian Cybercrime Coordination Center under the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) provided information that fraudsters are sending fraudulent messages to carry out cybercrime. The companies that own these headers have been banned. Additionally, 73 SMS headers and 1522 SMS templates used by the companies have also been blocked. Now no telecom operator will be able to use any of these SMS headers and SMS templates. Under the Sanchar Sathi program, this action aims to protect citizens from SMS fraud.
Appeal to use the Chakshu facility available on Sanchar Saathi
An official of the Telecom Department said that the companies against which action has been taken were involved in fraud for a long time. According to the Ministry, anyone receiving a suspicious message should immediately inform through the Chakshu facility available on Sanchar Saathi. This will make it easier to take action against people and companies involved in cybercrime.
Ban on the use of mobile numbers for telemarketing
Apart from this, the government has banned the use of mobile numbers for telemarketing. If any person uses his mobile phone to send promotional messages, he will be disconnected. Moreover, his name and address will be banned for two years. Only 180 and 140 series numbers can be used for telemarketing calls. Furthermore, a 10-digit mobile number is restricted for marketing. If you want to report any fraud, you can dial 1909. You can also use the Do Not Disturb (DND) service.
Cybercrime prevention methods
Cybercrime prevention methods are a combination of technological solutions, policy measures, and user awareness. Here are some effective methods:
Strong Passwords and Authentication: Encourage the use of complex passwords and two-factor authentication (2FA) to protect accounts from unauthorized access. Moreover, never use your name or your family member’s name in the password. Furthermore, avoid using birthdate and marriage anniversary dates in the password.
Regular Software Updates and Patch Management: Keep all software, including operating systems, browsers, and applications, up to date. This is to patch known vulnerabilities.
Firewalls and Antivirus Software: Install and regularly update firewalls and antivirus software. This will protect against malware, viruses, and other malicious threats.
Data Encryption: Encrypt sensitive data both in transit and at rest to prevent unauthorized access in case of a data breach.
Secure Networks: Secure Wi-Fi networks with strong encryption. Moreover, change default passwords on routers to prevent unauthorized access.
Other methods
Employee Training and Awareness: Educate employees about cybersecurity best practices. This is recognizing phishing attempts and avoiding suspicious links. Furthermore, reporting security incidents promptly.
Access Control and Least Privilege: Implement access controls to restrict access to sensitive information only to authorized personnel and follow the principle of least privilege.
Regular Security Audits and Monitoring: Conduct regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities. Additionally, monitor network traffic for unusual activity.
Incident Response Plan: Develop an incident response plan to mitigate the impact of cyberattacks. Moreover, respond promptly to security incidents.
Legal and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to data protection and cybersecurity, such as GDPR, HIPAA, etc.
Vendor Risk Management: Assess and manage the cybersecurity risks posed by third-party vendors and partners who have access to your systems or data.
Backup and Recovery: Regularly backup data and test restoration procedures. Especially to ensure business continuity in the event of a cyber incident.
Cyber Insurance: Consider investing in cyber insurance to mitigate financial losses associated with cyberattacks and data breaches.
Continuous Learning and Adaptation: Stay informed about emerging cyber threats and evolving best practices in cybersecurity to adapt your prevention strategies accordingly.

In the hearing held on Saturday night in Tis Hazari Court, Bibhav Kumar was sent on remand for 5 days. Delhi Police had asked for remand for 7 days. Arguments were presented from both sides for two hours in Tis Hazari Court, after which the court gave its verdict.
During the hearing, Bibhav’s lawyers told the court that the police were distorting the facts. He also told the court that Swati Maliwal reached the Chief Minister’s residence without prior notice or appointment. She did not even tell anyone the purpose of coming to CM’s house. Before producing in front of the court medical examination of Bibhav Kumar was done at Aruna Asaf Ali Government Hospital.
Delhi Police has registered a case
On Thursday, about three days after the incident on May 13, a team of Delhi Police reached Swati Maliwal’s residence and stayed there for about four hours. According to sources, during this time Delhi Police recorded Swati’s statement. Swati Maliwal told the entire incident of Monday (May 13) to the Delhi Police. She has also informed the police about the circumstances under which she made the PCR call. What did CM Kejriwal’s personal secretary Bibhav Kumar do with her? How she was beaten. Now Delhi Police has initiated legal proceedings based on her statements.
Kejriwal and Bibhav’s problems increased after Swati filed the complaint. Swati Maliwal has recorded her statement in front of Special Cell’s Additional CP Pramod Kushwaha and Additional DCP North Anjeeta. Delhi Police filed an FIR after Maliwal’s statement.
The court rejected the anticipatory bail of Bibhav Kumar
On the other hand, Bibhav Kumar has already said in his police complaint that Swati Maliwal breached the security of the CM House and forcefully entered the CM House. Before his arrest, Bibhav had filed a petition for anticipatory bail in the court, which was cancelled.
On Saturday morning, the Civil Line police station arrested Bibhav Kumar from the Chief Minister’s residence. He has been accused of assaulting Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal inside the CM’s residence on May 13.
Bibhav Kumar was called for questioning and then arrested
Civil Line Police had earlier detained Bibhav. After that, he was arrested. Before his arrest, Bibhav Kumar had sent two emails to the Delhi Police. In the first mail, he had complained about Swati Maliwal and in the second mail, he had asked to cooperate in the investigation by Delhi Police.
Atishi made serious allegations against BJP
AAP leader Atishi has termed this incident as a conspiracy by BJP. He has said that the BJP is behind all this and its face is Swati Maliwal. It is noteworthy that on the morning of May 13, a PCR call was made from the house of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. In this case, Swati Maliwal has said in her complaint to the police that Chief Minister’s PS Bibhav misbehaved with her inside the Chief Minister’s residence, beat her badly and threw her out.
Swati Maliwal has accused Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of assaulting her that too in the Delhi CM house. Later she accused Kejriwal’s private secretary (PA) Bibhav Kumar of allegedly assaulting her. It’s a pretty serious allegation, and I’m sure many people are curious to know more about what happened.
Who is Swati Maliwal?
Swati Maliwal is an Indian activist known for her work in the field of women’s rights and social justice. She has been associated with various campaigns and initiatives aimed at combating issues such as gender-based violence, sexual harassment, and discrimination against women.
Delhi Women’s Commission Chairperson Swati Maliwal has in the past also accused her father of sexually abusing and beating her in her childhood. Moreover, she has divorced her husband Naveen. Swati Maliwal is also a Senior AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP.
Maliwal gained significant attention during her tenure as the Chairperson of the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW), where she actively advocated for stronger laws and policies to protect women and girls. Furthermore, under her leadership, the DCW conducted numerous investigations into cases of violence against women and provided support to victims. Maliwal’s work has made her a prominent figure in the fight for women’s rights in India.
Delhi Police received a call from Swati Maliwal
Senior AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal has accused CM Arvind Kejriwal’s secretary (PA) Bibhav Kumar of allegedly assaulting her. It is being told that Swati has called Delhi Police. When the police team reached Delhi CM Kejriwal’s house Swati left CM’s house and reached the police station.
The police control room received a call around 9:30 am on Monday. In this, the caller said I am Swati Maliwal. The CM and his PA beat him up in the CM House. After this, in another call, while correcting, it was told that on the instructions of the Chief Minister, his PA Bibhav had assaulted me. According to the information received, altogether 2 PCR calls have been made. The first call was made at 9:31 and the second call was made at 9:39.
Delhi Police engaged in investigation
Giving information about this matter, Delhi Police has said that the call was made by Swati Maliwal only. Moreover, the call was made twice. Swati had made both the calls from her phone number. Police say that Swati had come to the Civil Line police station, and she told them about the incident. Swati Maliwal said that she would give a written complaint later. At present the matter is being investigated.
It is well known that Kejriwal and Swati Maliwal are old friends, very close and trusted colleagues. After Kejriwal was released from jail, Swati went to his home to meet him. However, Kejriwal’s PA slapped Swati. Therefore, it is a big deal for Kejriwal’s PA to attack him. What could be the possible reasons? Raising big questions about the reason. Is there some family reason?
BJP attacked Kejriwal
In this matter, the Bharatiya Janata Party has attacked CM Kejriwal.
BJP National Secretary, Manjinder Singh Sirsa, has launched a scathing attack on Kejriwal, accusing him of ordering the beating of AAP’s female Rajya Sabha MP, Swati Maliwal. According to Sirsa, there is sensational news coming from Arvind Kejriwal’s house that suggests that he instructed his PA, Vibhav, to arrange for Maliwal to be physically assaulted.
Delhi State President of the BJP Virendra Sachdeva posted on X. He said that the information is being received that Swati Maliwal was attacked at the behest of Kejriwal because Swati was asking Kejriwal some such questions which he did not want to answer. Kejriwal who talks about women’s safety, even his female MPs are not safe from him. I strongly condemn this attack on a female MP.
ED arrested the Chief Engineer of Jharkhand Rural Development Department, Virendra K. Ram in a money laundering case in February last year.
According to the information, property worth Rs 150 crore was found at Virendra’s place. Apart from this, gold jewellery worth two crores was also recovered. ED also recovered a laptop and some pen drives from Virendra Ram. ED had started raiding 24 locations of Virendra on February 21 last year which ended on February 22. Virendra Ram was interrogated by the agency for two days based on the documents recovered from him during this raid.
The ED had told the court that an investigation of the bank accounts of Virendra and his family revealed money disproportionate to their legal sources of income. It is alleged that Ram acquired movable and immovable properties in the name of his father, wife and other family members. This wealth is not in proportion to the family income. A complaint in a money laundering case was filed against Virendra Ram in September 2020.
ED Raid is going on
After a long interrogation, Virendra Ram had revealed his relations with many big people before the ED. Now ED conducted raids in various areas of Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. In the Virendra Ram case, a huge amount of cash was recovered from the domestic servant of Sanjeev Lal who is the personal secretary of Jharkhand Rural Development Minister Alamgir Alam. Counting is going on and it is estimated that the cash will be more than 25 crore.

Radhika Khera Resigned from Congress
Radhika Khera said that today with great pain I am resigning the party’s primary membership. Also, I am resigning from my post. She said that yes, I am a girl and can fight and I am doing the same now. Moreover, she said I will continue fighting for justice for myself and my countrymen.
Radhika Khera wrote in her resignation letter it has been an established truth since ancient times that those who support religion have been opposed. At present some people are opposing taking the name of Bhagwan Shri Ram. For every Hindu, the birthplace of Lord Shri Ram holds great significance with its sanctity. While every Hindu considers his life successful just by seeing Ramlala.
Furthermore, she wrote that she had given 22 years of her life to the party. Moreover, she had worked honestly from NSUI to AICC’s media department. Today she is been opposed because she can’t stop herself from visiting Ram Mandir. She pointed out the incident that happened to her in the Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Office and she didn’t get justice even after repeatedly informing all the top leaders of the party. These were the reasons that forced her to resign from the Congress party.
Update on 7th May 2024.
Radhika Khera was given membership of the BJP in the presence of senior party leaders on May 7, 2024, at the BJP headquarters in the country’s capital Delhi. After joining the BJP, she told the journalists – The way a Ram devotee like me was mistreated at Kaushalya Mata’s land for the darshan of Ramlala, I would not have been able to reach you.
Radhika Kheda further claimed – If I had not got the protection of Modi government and BJP there, I would not have been here today. In Congress, I was being punished for being a Hindu, a Sanatani and a devotee of Ram. Moreover, she said that she was continuously tolerating it. Furthermore, she said – We used to think that Congress is Mahatma Gandhi’s Congress but in reality, it is not so. Today’s Congress is anti-Ram and anti-Hindu.
Her decision to switch parties created a stir. She claimed she faced “harassment” from Congress leaders due to her “pro-Hindu beliefs” and that they restricted her participation in debates. Sachin Pilot, a Congress leader, contested these claims.
Suspense which was created from the announcement of the Lok Sabha election is now over for Amethi and Raebareli seats on the last day of the nomination. Rahul Gandhi from Congress is going to contest from Raebareli opposite Dinesh Pratap Singh of the BJP. While Kishori Lal Sharma of the Congress will contest against Smriti Irani of the BJP. The Congress party general secretary KC Venugopal has declared candidates for both seats. For Rahul Gandhi, the party has considered Raebareli safer than Amethi. Because this seat is still with Congress.
Amethi and Raebareli’s seats are traditionally Gandhi family seats and there was suspense about who from the Gandhi family will fight for these seats. It was assumed that Rahul Gandhi would fight again from Amethi while Priyanka Gandhi would fight from Raebareli. Now after the declaration, the suspense is over. The Congress party announced Rahul Gandhi’s candidature for the Raebareli seat on Friday, the last day of filing nominations.
In the initial phase, Priyanka Gandhi showed interest in Raebareli. She wanted to contest elections from here. Till yesterday her name was expected. But some party leaders put forward Rahul’s name for Raebareli instead of Priyanka. Now Priyanka maintained silence on this. Moreover, Robert Vadra husband of Priyanka Gandhi was interested in fighting from the Amethi. Perhaps due to the internal politics of the Gandhi family, his name was not been considered.
It is being speculated that Rahul Gandhi, who lost the Amethi seat to Smriti Irani in 2019, may not be interested in contesting from there again. He has been an MP from Wayanad since 2019, and now there are claims by the BJP that he may lose this seat too. Looking to the probable defeat Rahul Gandhi chose to fight from a safer seat.
The suspense of Amethi is over
Suspense is over after the declaration of the name of Kishori Lal Sharma for Amethi. Kishori Lal Sharma got a reward for his loyalty to Sonia Gandhi. Originally Kishori Lal Sharma belonged to Ludhiana, Punjab. Around 1983, Rajiv Gandhi brought him to Amethi for the first time. Since then he stayed here.
Even when the Gandhi family stopped contesting elections from here after the death of Rajiv Gandhi in 1991, Sharma continued to work for MPs of the Congress Party. He is considered loyal not only to the organization but also to the family. After Sonia Gandhi was elected MP from Raebareli, he continued to work as her representative. After Sonia Gandhi was elected to Rajya Sabha, Kishori was considered a contender from Raebareli, but the party made him a candidate from Amethi instead of Raebareli.
