Om Birla Inaugurates Development Works at Mathuradheesh Mandir, Kota
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla arrived in his hometown today to lay the foundation stone. Speaker Om Birla laid the foundation stone for the first phase of construction work of the Shree Madhuradhees Mandir Corridor at 7 am on Sunday. Under the first phase, development work will be carried out by KDA at Rs 18.24 crore, keeping in mind the convenience of the devotees. In due time, KDA will spend on development works worth more than Rs 30 crore
During the event, Om Birla emphasised the importance of religious tourism. He stated that the new corridor would provide a world-class experience to pilgrims. The Speaker also reviewed other ongoing beautification projects around the temple. He interacted with residents and temple priests during his visit. This new corridor is expected to boost the local economy significantly.
Om Birla will stay for five days in Kota. During this period, he will participate in various programs. Apart from Mathuradheesh Mandir corridor, he will also lay the foundation stone of the link road from Kaithunipol Square to Abhay Command at Rs 9.82 crore and facade light installation work at Mahatma Gandhi Vidyalaya, Maharani Vidyalaya Rampura, Ghantaghar and Lakkhi Burj at Rs 2.5 crore.
