Lokesh Sharma revealed phone-tapping

The five highest spending countries in 2022 remain in the same position in 2023. Russia is at number three in this. A total of 10 countries have spent lavishly on military weapons. America is on top of this.

Sweden’s Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) has revealed this in a report released on Monday. According to the report, global military spending reached $2443 billion in 2023. As compared to the year 2022 it is an increase of 6.8%. It was $22.4 trillion in 2022. According to the report, the amount of money that various countries in the world are currently spending on arms, ammunition and other military equipment has never happened before. According to the report, this is the biggest increase in a year since 2009 and the ninth consecutive year when spending has increased.

America is on top and China is on second

America still tops the list of countries with the highest military spending. In 2023, America spent $916 billion on defence, which is more than 37% of the total worldwide expenditure. In second place is China, whose expenditure is about one-third of America. It spent $296 billion, which is 12% of its total expenditure. This is 6% more than in 2022. China’s military expenditure has increased year-on-year for 29 consecutive years. These two countries contributed half of the total expenditure on weapons.

Russia is spending 5.9% of its GDP on military.

SIPRI researcher Lorenzo Scarazzato said, one of the main factors for the increase in military spending is the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. Ukraine is the eighth-largest country in terms of military expenditure. Its expenditure increased by 51% to reach $64.8 billion, which is 37% of its total GDP. The largest increase in military spending was seen in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where war continues between the government and rebels. Its expenditure has increased by 105%.

Military spending increased in all five regions defined by SIPRI, particularly in Europe, Asia, Oceania, and the Middle East.

Fake News on Social Media is Monitored by Administration and Police

E-License and E-RC Introduced Today
E-License and E-RC have been started from today onward. Moreover, now you can apply online yourself. License and RC smart cards will not be given from Monday. People will be given e-license and e-RC by the transport department. The Transport Department has finalized its preparations.

People will be able to apply for a license and RC in person or by visiting their nearest e-Mitra. Payment will also be done online. After applying, the process of license and RC will be completed in RTO. The link will be sent from the RTO to the applicant’s mobile. Finally, from the link, the applicant will be able to download his e-license and RC. Not only this, kiosks have been installed in RTO offices for the convenience of the people. - Enter the registration number on the screen and click on the process
- Click on the Download Document tab on the screen and then click on Print Registration Certificate
- Enter the last five digits of your vehicle’s chassis number on the screen
- After this click on Generate OTP
- Click on Show details
- E-RC will be displayed on the screen, which can be downloaded by clicking on download.

In the state, 10 BJP candidates including Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein won their respective seats unopposed. Election officials gave this information on Saturday.

Election officials in Itanagar said that after the withdrawal of nominations on different seats, 10 BJP candidates won unopposed. Officials said there was no candidate against Chief Minister Khandu in the Mukto assembly constituency. First-time candidate and retired engineer Techi Rotu of the BJP was the only candidate to file a nomination for the Sagli Assembly seat.

Khandu celebrated the unopposed victory of 10 BJP assembly candidates. He celebrated with Honorable Minister Ashok Singhal ji, Deputy Chief Minister Chauna Mein ji and party workers at the BJP office. Moreover, he thanked the people for their love, faith in Modi’s guarantee and dedication towards the state’s development.

BJP showed its strength

Besides Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein, eight other candidates have been elected unopposed. These include Hyuliang-ST to Dasanglu Pul, Bomdila to Dongru Seongju, Sagli to Techi Ratu, Zero-Hapoli to Hege Appa, Tali to Jikke Tako, Taliha to Nyato Dukam, Roins to Muchchu Meethi and Itanagar to Techi Kaso.

This process of unopposed elections in Arunachal Pradesh started in 1999. In 2014, 11 Congress MLAs, including outgoing Chief Minister Khandu, were elected unopposed. However, most of the MLAs led by Khandu later left the Congress and joined the Bhartiya Janta Party. Furthermore, they form the government led by the Bharatiya Janata Party. In the last assembly elections in 2019, three BJP candidates were elected unopposed.

Voting for two Lok Sabha seats will be held on April 19.

Assembly elections on remaining seats and voting for two Lok Sabha seats of Arunachal Pradesh – Arunachal West and Arunachal East – will be held simultaneously on April 19.

In the 2019 assembly elections, BJP had won 41 out of 60 seats in Arunachal. Later, seven MLAs from other parties joined the BJP. The counting of votes for the assembly elections will take place on June 2. The results of the two Lok Sabha seats will be declared on June 4.
