    MP Cabinet Expansion: Mohan Team 28

    MP cabinet expansion took place today on Monday at Bhopal. Finally, CM Mohan Yadav’s cabinet has been expanded in Madhya Pradesh. After much brainstorming and speculation, the Mohan cabinet has now been expanded. However, many big names who were ministers in the Shivraj government have not been able to get a place in Mohan Yadav’s cabinet. The ministers included in the Mohan cabinet have taken the oath of ministerial office and secrecy at Raj Bhavan. Above all Governor Mangubhai Patel administered the oath to all the ministers.

    The swearing-in program started with the national anthem, after which Chief Secretary Veera Rana sought permission from the Governor from the stage to start the program and then with the permission of the Governor, the swearing-in program of the ministers started.

    The Governor administered the oath of office to the ministers in different sequences. All in all a total of 18 cabinet ministers, 6 ministers of state with independent charge and 4 ministers of state have been made in the Mohan cabinet.

    Regional balance is maintained in MP cabinet expansion

    The new cabinet of Madhya Pradesh has a maximum of 10 ministers from Malwa-Nimar. Among them, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Deora are also from this area. Moreover, there are three ministers from Vindhya including Deputy CM Rajendra Shukla. Additionally, there are six ministers from Central MP, five from Mahakaushal, four from Gwalior-Chambal and three from Budelkhand.

    Moreover, if seen caste-wise, the Mohan government has five ministers each from SC and ST, 13 from OBC and eight from the upper caste community.

    Bhartiya Janta party announced the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh today just a few hours ago. Once again it is been proved that any Karyakarta can be given the highest responsibility in the Bhartiya Janta Party. The name of the CM of MP was surprising since it was in the list of who was considered as the next CM.

    In the legislature party meeting held in Bhopal Mohan Yadav’s name was been approved. Mohan Yadav was unanimously elected as the next Chief Minister of the state in the presence of party-sent observers Manohar Lal Khattar, Dr K Laxman and Asha Lakra. At last, the suspense regarding the name of the Chief Minister in Madhya Pradesh has finally ended.

    Mohan Yadav is MLA from Ujjain South Assembly seat. Moreover, he is considered very close to RSS. According to sources, there will also be two Deputy Chief Ministers in Madhya Pradesh. The two names that are coming forward are Jagdish Deora and Rajesh Shukla.

    Mohan Yadav has studied at Madhav Science College. Dr Mohan Yadav has achieved a position in politics after a lot of struggle.

    He has taken over the responsibility of Municipal Minister of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Ujjain. Moreover, Mohan was also elected co-secretary of the student union in 1982.

    He has also been a member of the State Executive of Bhartiya Janta Party. Moreover, he was a member of the Central Committee of Simhastha Madhya Pradesh. Apart from this, he was the head of the Madhya Pradesh Development Authority. Moreover, a member of the Advisory Committee of the Western Railway Board.

    After 2013 and 2018, he reached the Assembly in 2023 also by winning the election from Ujjain South Assembly seat. Mohan Yadav had won against Congress candidate Chetan Premnarayan Yadav by a margin of 12,941 votes. This victory ensured his third consecutive term as MLA. Moreover, he is counted among the big leaders of the Ujjain division.

    Bhartiya Janta Party got a huge majority in MP

    Earlier, voting was held for 230 assembly seats of Madhya Pradesh on November 17. Its results were released on 3rd December. In the results, the Bhartiya Janta Party won with a huge majority. If we look at the figures, the BJP got 163 seats, while Congress had to be satisfied with only 66 seats.

    After winning the elections, the question in everyone’s mind was who would be the next CM of the state. Shivraj Singh Chouhan had been going among the people since winning the elections. Were meeting mothers and sisters. He had also said that he would stay in Madhya Pradesh only. Moreover, he had repeatedly reiterated that he would accept every decision of the party.

    Meanwhile, the BJP MPs who won the assembly elections made the matter more interesting by resigning from parliament seats. Along with this, it was believed that apart from Shivraj, there are many veterans in the race for the post of CM.

    Chhattisgarh’s decision increased interest

    After a long wait, the party appointed observers for the three states last Friday and entrusted them with the responsibility of meeting the MLAs and deciding the CM.

    Meanwhile, yesterday the party surprised everyone in Chhattisgarh by electing Vishnu Deo Sai, who comes from the tribal community, as the CM of Chhattisgarh.

    However, a week after the results, putting an end to all speculations and conjectures, the party took its decision and elected Mohan Yadav as the next Chief Minister of the state.
