Shahjahan Sheikh arrested before PM Modi’s visit

Shahjahan Sheikh who targeted and sexually assaulted Hindu women in Sandeshkhali, West Bengal, has been arrested from the Meenakh area of West Bengal today on Thursday morning. Shahjahan Sheikh is a leader of the Trinamool Congress. His arrest came under immense political pressure. Moreover, this arrest is before PM Modi’s arrival in West Bengal on March 6.

According to the police, Shahjahan Shaikh was hiding in a house in Meenakha in North 24 Parganas district, from where he was arrested. Police said that after his arrest he would be produced in Basirhat court. A police officer said that he is currently in custody and will be produced in court at 2 pm.

Charges against Shahjahan Sheikh

Shabjahan Sheikh first came to the attention of the ED team. Shahjahan Sheikh is an accused in the ration scam. ED raid on his house on the 5th of January 2024. The ED team was been attacked by the Sheikh and his supporters. Moreover, now Shahjahan Sheikh is also an accused in the attack on the ED team during a raid. Furthermore, he ran away after attacking the ED team.

After that, the incident of sexual harassment of Hindu women by targeting them in Sandeshkhali came to light. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee initially supported him but later started distancing herself from the accused. Politics is hot over alleged sexual harassment and land grabbing in Sandeshkhali.

After the ED action against Shahjahan Sheikh, the victimized women of the area came before the police and told the media about their pain. Sheikh Shahjahan, a Trinamool Congress Party leader from Sandeshkhali, has been accused of illegally acquiring land to build a fish farming pond. Himachal Rajya Sabha Election 2024 Result

Sudarshan Setu facilitate to reach Beyt Dwarika
Sudarshan Setu, also known as the Okha-Beyt Dwarka Signature Bridge, is a recently inaugurated cable-stayed bridge in Dwarka, Gujarat, India. The UP Police recruitment exam cancelled

The UP police recruitment exam was cancelled by the UP government. After the paper was leaked, the candidates for the constable recruitment exam protested. They were demanding cancellation of the exam and re-conducting it.

Yogi government has taken a big decision on Saturday regarding the UP Police Constable Recruitment Examination. The Police Constable Recruitment Examination-2023 held on 17th and 18th February has been cancelled. After the paper leak, the candidates appearing in the examination protested. They were raising the demand to cancel the constable recruitment examination and conduct it again. Regarding this, the candidates also demonstrated in the four districts of the Bareilly division and submitted memorandums to the officers.

UP Police recruitment exam will be conducted in six months

The recently held UP Police constable recruitment exam has been cancelled following reports of paper leaking. According to Chief Minister Yogi, the examination will be conducted with complete cleanliness within six months. Network companies say that efforts are being made to restore the service. Florida Senator Marco Rubio has warned of Chinese cyberattacks over widespread US cellular outages. He says that if China starts a cyber attack while attacking Taiwan, the situation may get worse.

Rubio posted on social media platform X and said, ‘I do not know the reason for the outage in America. However, I do know that if China launches a cyber attack on America before attacking Taiwan, the situation will become a hundred times worse. It won’t just be cell service that they attack, it will be your power, your water and your banks.

Notably, massive outages have been reported in the US after ATT’s network was down. Internet service was down in many places. Because of this customers were not able to talk to anyone. First of all, people face problems in making phone calls. After this, they tried to send a text message but it also did not go through. When people were calling, it was showing SOS, which is visible when the network is down. Even the helpline number 911 was not working.

More than 74,000 ATT customers in the US reported cellular outages on digital-service tracking site DownDetector on Thursday. However, customers of other network companies Verizon and T-Mobile have also filed complaints. But the companies say that their network is working normally. ATT acknowledged that there was a widespread cellular outage, but did not provide any reason for the system not working.

ATT had said in a statement, ‘Some of our customers are experiencing problems with wireless service since this morning. We are working on it, till then you can use Wi-Fi calling. However, this morning ATT said that the network has been fixed.

The company said, ‘Our network teams took immediate action and so far three-fourths of our network has been restored. We are working as quickly as possible to restore service to remaining customers.
